If you have clicked my link, you are at the right place at the right time, EXHALE. First, I want to congratulate you for taking the first step to healing. Soliciting guidance in the world we live in is much needed from time to time considering social injustices, systemic racism, generational trauma, societal pressures and so on.
My name is La'Bresha Hearn, Licensed Professional Counselor, but you can call me Bree. I received my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Stephen F. Austin State University (Axe’em)! I provide individual therapy with a special interest in women ready to do the work required to become the best versions of themselves. My specialties include but are not limited to self-esteem, trauma, mood disorders, life-transitions, work-related stress and communication. My therapeutic approach is tailored to address each client’s needs and therapeutic goals. The theories I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Motivational Interviewing.
It is my experience that my clients know themselves better than anyone. I see therapy as a joint venture where our knowledge and skills are combined to create the internal framework and strength needed for you to address and resolve past, present, and future challenges. If you are ready to step into the person you know you can become, please submit a new client request. Happy Healing.
